Best way to reach you

After you send it

What happens next.

Every enquiry is answered by the design team, not a call centre, and every project then follows the same sequence. These are its first steps.

  1. 01

    We reply

A designer reads your enquiry and comes back to you directly, usually within one working day. Drawings, photographs or a floor plan are welcome before you commit to anything.

  2. 02

    Initial consultation

We start with the person, not the room: requirements, lifestyle or business need, budget, objectives and the real conditions of the site.

    • Budget

  3. 03

    Design & development

Concepts, layouts and mood boards develop into a single design direction, then into 3D you can walk through before anything is committed.

How we quote

How a NITS quote is put together.

01

A designer reads your brief

Every enquiry is read by a designer, who replies directly, usually within one working day. You can send drawings, photographs or a floor plan with it, and we are happy to look at them before you commit to anything.

The first consultation covers what you need from the space, how you use it, the budget you have in mind and the real conditions of the site. A clear brief at this point saves a redesign later, so tell us what is fixed, such as a move-in date or furniture you are keeping, and what is still open.

02

A survey before a renovation price

On a renovation we establish what is already there before we price it: the structure, the services, moisture, the condition of the substrates and any alterations made by earlier owners. A renovation priced without that survey rests on assumptions, and the difference tends to surface once walls are opened, at the client's expense.

On a new or empty space the same principle applies on a smaller scale. Measurements, existing services and the building's rules all feed into what can be built and what it will cost. If you have survey reports, as-built drawings or the developer's handover documents, send them with your enquiry.

03

The design comes before the final figure

A price you can rely on needs a design to price. Concepts, layouts and mood boards develop into one design direction, which you walk through in 3D. Finishes, surfaces, furniture, lighting and fixtures are then selected. After that the scope, timeline, procurement and vendors are fixed and costed in the project planning stage of our process.

This order means the cost you approve describes a design you have seen, in the materials you chose. Ask at the first meeting what the design stage includes for your project and how it is agreed.

04

What an interior design quote should include

What should an interior design quote include? Ours is built from technical drawings and a full bill of quantities. Each line names an item, its specification and its quantity, so you can see what is included without inferring it. The proposal also sets out the scope, the programme and the procurement, and you deal with one project manager from the first consultation to handover.

When you read any quotation, look for four things: which selections are fixed and which are allowances, what is excluded, how a change after approval is priced and added to the programme, and what handover includes. Ours ends with a final walkthrough, a quality check, documentation and warranties.

05

Comparing our quote with others

An interior design quotation in Dubai can only be compared with another when both price the same drawings and the same specification. Send every firm on your shortlist the same brief and drawings, and ask each to list inclusions, allowances and exclusions alongside the total. Where two proposals differ, ask each firm to explain the difference in writing before you decide.

Two of our guides go through the detail: whether the cheapest quote can cost more and whether an all-inclusive quote is complete. They apply to our quotation as much as to anyone else's.
